On behalf of a major operator, I am looking for a HSE Manager to join their team in their Paris office on a permanent basis. This will be a residential position in Paris.
As a HSE Manager you will be responsible for supporting the creation of company HSE Service in France in line with Company procedures and standards.

As a HSE Manager you will be responsible for supporting the creation of company HSE Service in France in line with Company procedures and standards.

Responsibilities:
- Identifying the appropriate strategy for environmental permits regarding the projects/activities to be implemented, in contact with regulatory bodies.
- Ensuring monitoring, mitigation and compensatory measures are properly implemented and liaise with regulatory bodies where necessary.
- Carrying out HSE evaluations, audits, and inspections, focused on environmental and basic health-safety topics.
- Ensure compliance with regulations relating to environmental management and provide recommendations to the operations and project development departments in the areas of agrivoltaics, biodiversity management, waste, water, noise, chemical/hazardous substances, and environmental management in general.
- In case of HSE accidents, adopt the appropriate immediate countermeasures, investigate, and report in line with Company best practice and in coordination with HSE department
Requirements:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or environment.
- Experience in wind or photovoltaic sector in France, by a factual experience of managing the Environmental aspects of a project.
- Knowledge and experience in dealing with international standards like: ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001, training as a Quality, Environment or PRL auditor.
- Knowledge on HSE legislation in France with a special focus on Environmental requirements.
- Intermediate user level of the OFFICE package level, MS PROJECT, MS Teams, GIS.
