Senior Manager Basic Design / Offshore Engineering - Dubai

On behalf of a leading provider of marine and offshore services, I am looking for a Senior Engineering Manager in basic design / offshore engineering to join their team on a permanent basis. This will be a residential position in Dubai.

This role will be to help with the design for Offshore Oil & Gas (fixed and floating) and Marine Structures.

Responsibilities:

• Execution of structural design (FEED and Detail Engineering) for the scope of work.
• Effective and efficient operation of the Basic Design & Offshore Engineering Team.
• Prepare Project basis of design and technical specifications.
• Prepare and review engineering studies, design drawings and documents.
• Prepare materials / equipment technical specifications.
• Prepare engineering execution plan for Offshore and Marine projects.

Requirements:

• Master of Science Degree in related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 15 Years’ Experience in offshore and Marine Industry.
• In-depth knowledge of offshore engineering design for fixed and floating structures.
• Knowledge of Marine and Naval Architectural Engineering
• In depth knowledge of applicable rules and regulations including technical safety requirements.
• Experience in both engineering consultant companies and EPC contractors organisations.
