Key Responsibilities
- Uphold and promote exemplary behaviour in line with company Code of Conduct and HSE policies. Ensure compliance with HSE rules and training requirements.
- Familiarise and adhere to relevant company/project rules, international standards, and specifications. Apply these in project execution.
- Supervise and control offshore activities performed by the SURF contractor aboard the light construction vessel, ensuring alignment with:
- Agreed procedures and installation analyses.
- Project specifications and international standards.
- Company quality and safety requirements.
- Approved Management of Change (MOC) processes for any deviations.
- Monitor vessel activities to ensure alignment with the planned schedule.
- Provide timely reporting to the SURF offshore representative regarding progress, concerns, and potential solutions.
- Assist in anticipating and managing personnel and MWS requirements aboard the vessel.
- Coordinate night-shift interfaces between MWS and SURF contractor.
- Ensure readiness of relevant certificates and documentation for COMPANY and MWS approvals.
- Maintain traceability systems for rigging and SPS tools onboard.
- Safeguard confidentiality of all produced documentation and shared information.
- Support the SURF offshore representative in managing the COMPANY team during night operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Engineer or equivalent.
- Language: English (mandatory).
- Proven expertise in supervising SURF Umbilical Laying and Spools Installation offshore.
- Recent experience with deep-water projects is essential.
- Certifications: BOSIET, HUET.
