Position:
Offshore Company Site Representative (Light Construction Vessel)
Location: Offshore Angola
Rotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off
Duration: 6 months, renewable
Start Date: February 2025

About the Role:
Are you a seasoned professional with expertise in offshore operations and SURF projects? We are looking for an Offshore Company Site Representative to join our team onboard a Light Construction Vessel in Angola. In this pivotal role, you will oversee offshore activities, ensure adherence to HSE standards, and act as the focal point for operational and emergency management.
As part of a high-stakes brownfield project involving SIMOPS on live FPSOs, you will coordinate activities, manage interfaces, and lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HSE Compliance:
    • Enforce COMPANY HSE standards and participate in hazard assessments.
    • Act as the focal point for emergency response and implement ERP procedures.
  • Operational Supervision:
    • Supervise SURF Contractor operations, including umbilical laying, subsea works, and deck operations.
    • Ensure all activities align with agreed procedures and specifications.
    • Oversee co-activities and SIMOPS with FPSOs and other vessels.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Maintain daily communication with the SURF Operations Manager and onshore support teams.
    • Coordinate with contractors, MWS representatives, and SPS personnel onboard.
    • Ensure traceability of tools and rigging equipment.
  • Leadership:
    • Lead the COMPANY team onboard the vessel, ensuring efficient team management and reporting.
    • Review and approve certificates, checklists, and readiness for installation documents.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Education: Engineer or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Advanced expertise in project supervision and SURF operations, with a focus on installation and commissioning.
  • HSE Training: BOSIET, HUET, and GSES certifications are advantageous.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expert knowledge of SURF design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
    • Proven ability in team management, contractor negotiation, and offshore operations.
    • Strong understanding of HSE standards and procedures.
