Public Relations Officer

Working Conditions:
- Part-time Job (4 hours a day)
Working days:
- Sunday to Thursday and 20 hours per week.

Job Description: The Public Relations Officer is tasked with managing the public image and relationships of the organization. This role involves creating and disseminating media, handling inquiries from the public and press, and coordinating public relations events to boost the organization's visibility and promote its activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create innovative and targeted PR strategies and campaigns aligned with organizational goals and enhance Organization visibility.
• Build and maintain relationships with media representatives, influencers, and key external partners to increase positive coverage and secure strategic partnerships.
• Monitor media coverage and Industry Trends, news and identify opportunities for proactive engagement.
• Plan and execute PR events, including press conferences, media briefings, and promotional events. Ensure events are well-coordinated to maximize media exposure.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries from the public, media, and press. Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries.
• Maintain consistent and positive communication across all media platforms, including press releases, social media, and corporate communications.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social work, youth development, public relations, communications or a related area.
2. Proven experience in public relations, media management, or a similar role.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Proficient with PR software and social media platforms.
5. Creativity and problem-solving aptitude.
6. Experience in the nonprofit sector is highly valued.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Fluency in written and spoken Kurdish and English languages. Additional language skills may be advantageous.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Knowledge of the non-profit sector and volunteerism.
