WRS are looking for a Solar Project Development Manager to join a fast growing renewable developer on a permanent basis in Northeast Germany

This role is based in the Northeast of Germany, with flexible remote working options.
About the Role
As a Solar Project Development Manager, you will be instrumental in advancing solar PV projects from inception to Ready-to-Build status. This involves stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and ensuring high-quality delivery within timelines and budgets.

About the Role
As a Solar Project Development Manager, you will be instrumental in advancing solar PV projects from inception to Ready-to-Build status. This involves stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and ensuring high-quality delivery within timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company before landowners, local communities, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders in Germany.
- Originate and develop solar PV opportunities, building a robust pipeline of projects.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, quality control, and risk management throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external advisors, and equipment suppliers to drive project success.
- Maintain and enhance professional qualifications to meet evolving business needs.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Services, Landscape Planning, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in solar PV project development.
- Comprehensive understanding of German solar regulations and the project lifecycle.
- Fluent German (C2) and good English skills (B2). Proficiency in another European language is a plus.
- Independent, solution-oriented thinker with a team-first approach and excellent relationship-building skills.
