My client is seeking an experienced Asset and O&M Manager in San Antonio, Texas. Responsible for financial and operational management of solar power generation facilities. Manages technical issues, maximizes cash generation, and oversees reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee asset management, operations, and maintenance for assets.
- Optimize and maximize asset generation, ensuring short and long-term safety, performance, and reliability.
- Complete reporting requirements within specified deadlines.
- Conduct proactive maintenance and operational performance analysis.
- Enforce contractual obligations and challenge manufacturer performance assessments.
- Investigate downtime and performance metrics, ensuring warranty and contractual compliance.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts for assets.
- Manage communication with various stakeholders, including customers, OEMs, and service providers.
- Drive a safety culture and contribute to safety performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in solar power plant asset management, operations/maintenance, and experience in operations or financial management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Desired Attributes: 3-5 years of supervisory experience, familiarity with enterprise-level programs for solar power facilities, and understanding of environmental, health, and safety program management.
