Project Developer - Hamburg

On behalf of a major renewables developer, WRS are looking for a Project Developer specialising in onshore wind to join the client's team in Germany. This will be a permanent position, based in the client offices in Hamburg.

This role will initiate, structure, accompany and monitor all matters related to the planning and development of onshore wind energy projects in Germany.

Job Duties:

• Planning and development of onshore wind energy projects from securing land to readiness for construction. This includes, in particular, securing the land, obtaining approval, securing the grid connection and securing remuneration in EEG auctions or through PPA contracts.
• Assessing location factors, the design and layout of the project and the selection of technology.
• Work with planning authorities, municipalities, legal advisors and landowners.
• Developing practice-oriented solutions and working together in a team.
• Record the respective project progress promptly, to map it and, if necessary, to adjust it accordingly

Candidate Requirements:

• Familiar with working with software tools such as WindPRO.
• Experiennce with onshore wind projects
• Familiar with communication and discussion with municipalities and landowners as well as external consultants and project partners
• Experience conducting contract negotiations and bring about the conclusion of contracts. 
• Experienced with the evaluation of technical and regulatory project aspects. 
• Right to work in Germany
