Position: Millwork Drafter/Engineer
Location: Oakdale, PA
Description: Seeking an experienced Millwork Drafter/Engineer to join a rapidly growing Casework and Millwork division. This role involves creating detailed millwork shop drawings based on architectural blueprints and collaborating with various departments to ensure high-quality results.
Responsibilities:

• Independently produce millwork shop drawings from architectural blueprints.
• Review and collaborate on team projects and department initiatives.
• Compose detailed assembly drawings, including joinery details and finishes.
• Work closely with architects, project managers, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Create part drawings for fabrication, either manually or using CNC machinery.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CAD or AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and conduct field checks.
• Knowledge of build methods within the casework and millwork industry.
• Experience with Cabinet Vision or Alpha Cam is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft OS (XP, Vista, 7, 10) and Visual Basic (additional programming languages are a plus).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree or ongoing studies in Computer Science, Computer Aided Drafting, Communication, or a technical degree with a focus on Architecture or Drafting and Design.
