On Behalf of our client in Madrid we are looking for a LNG Cargo operator to join the team in Madrid on a permanent assignment.

Please note: We are looking for someone who is quite flexible in term of working on assignments outside of Madrid, also aspirations to work abroad would be ideal.  

Overview: 

To ensure smooth delivery of LNG cargoes according to contractual requirements and, if possible, to optimise the economics of the delivery, in both cases from a cargo operations perspective.

Responsibilities:

LNG cargo operations, managing all aspects of cargo operations from trade inception to completion, in close cooperation with the different teams involved, which typically include:

• Liaising with counterpart operators on cargo operational requirements as set out in deal contract e.g. nominations (ships, delivery window, demurrage etc.); vessel and terminal clearances; quality and quantity of delivery; cargo invoices etc.

Skills needed: 

• Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering related studies
• Commercial LNG Operations related role for at least 3 years
• Ability to manage commercial contracts, port authority, LNG terminal and related regulatory documents.
• Programming skills (VBA, python, others) will be valuable.
• Previous ETRM experience from a cargo ops perspective
• Good team player and able to work independently
• Strong analytical, verbal and commercial communication skills with a keenness to drive and deliver new initiatives.
• LNG Shipping Operations experience valuable but not necessary
