Seeking a skilled professional to oversee the design and documentation of instrumentation and control systems for process and industrial plants, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design field instrumentation and control systems.
- Lead small to medium-sized projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Develop and review specifications, requisitions, and technical documentation for field instruments, analysers, and control systems (e.g., DCS, ESD, F&G).
- Produce and evaluate construction drawings, including indexes, I/O lists, location layouts, hook-ups, cable routing, and loop diagrams.
- Select appropriate instruments forj process control and monitoring applications.
- Manage estimations for man-hours, budgets, and technical proposals for tenders.
- Prepare project reports and participate in client and project meetings.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams and oversee daily task assignments.
- Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), inspections, and provide support for construction, loop checks, and commissioning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in instrumentation and control system design.
- Proficient in field instrumentation and control systems, including DCS, ESD, and F&G.
- Experience in supporting construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities at site locations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
