Overview

Seeking a skilled professional to oversee the design and documentation of instrumentation and control systems for process and industrial plants, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and client requirements.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Design field instrumentation and control systems.
  • Lead small to medium-sized projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Develop and review specifications, requisitions, and technical documentation for field instruments, analysers, and control systems (e.g., DCS, ESD, F&G).
  • Produce and evaluate construction drawings, including indexes, I/O lists, location layouts, hook-ups, cable routing, and loop diagrams.
  • Select appropriate instruments forj process control and monitoring applications.
  • Manage estimations for man-hours, budgets, and technical proposals for tenders.
  • Prepare project reports and participate in client and project meetings.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams and oversee daily task assignments.
  • Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), inspections, and provide support for construction, loop checks, and commissioning activities.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in instrumentation and control system design.
  • Proficient in field instrumentation and control systems, including DCS, ESD, and F&G.
  • Experience in supporting construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities at site locations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
