Key Responsibilities

Oversee the current data quality processes, establish new ones as required, and serve as the primary user of Tales of Data, while collaborating with headquarters for any necessary improvements.
Guide Data Stewards in implementing Data Quality Management (DQM), including the development of dashboards and KPIs, while driving initiatives for enhancing data quality.
Support the Head of Data Management in tracking and reporting on Data Quality KPIs.
Identify and address Data Management issues, assisting Data Stewards with conducting Root Cause Analysis.
Recommend changes to Data Governance practices to the Head of Data Management, seeking approval from the Data Domain Owner, Data Governance Board, or escalation to the Data Office at HQ.
Champion best practices in Data Management and monitor progress using the Group’s maturity assessment framework.
Contribute to the planning for 2025, collaborating with the team to define project objectives.

Required Experience

Strong background in Data Management,
Proven experience in Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis, particularly within the context of Data Quality Management.
Solid understanding of the Exploration & Production sector and its operational dynamics.
Deep knowledge of the pivotal role data plays within an organization, bridging business needs with IT functions.
Insight into the significance of high-quality, fit-for-purpose data in the context of Digital Transformation initiatives.
Proficiency in business-level English. Knowledge of Danish, Norwegian, and/or French is an advantage.
