Land Development Manager Job Description Full-Time | Hybrid/Onsite | Bradenton, FL 

$90,000 - $115,000

About Your Role As Land Development Manager, you’ll oversee development from the planning phase to completion of residential, commercial, and luxury home construction projects. Your role is to ensure plans meet every requirement and regulation, which may involve surveying the land to ensure accurate reporting. You'll also help create and manage the development schedule and maintain relationships with contractors and property owners.

What You'll Do
  • Research potential land development opportunities.
  • Provide accurate reporting of land surveys throughout the construction process, including environmental and infrastructure assessments.
  • Present feasibility data, including business planning and development schedules for land development projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to create project plans, designs, and timelines.
  • Ensure all local, regional, and national requirements, laws, and regulations are met.
  • Oversee and manage the construction development of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings from planning to completion.
  • Develop working relationships with contractors, property owners, and other project leaders.
  • Track the project budget and changes in schedule.
What You'll Need to Get the Job Done
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a supervisor, manager, or lead in development projects or similar
  • Outstanding communication skills to ensure solid relationship building with contractors, property owners, and other project leaders Effective project management skills
  • Experience with relevant software programs and applications
