Cost Controller - Houston

On behalf of a major operator, I am looking for a Cost Controller to join their team in their Houston office on a long term contract. This will be a 12 month renewable contract with a long term scope of work, paying a day rate in USD.

Please note: You MUST be a US Citizen or have the right to work in the US.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Drilling Project Manager and the project team in Preparation of well cost estimates and Well AFE.
• Responsible for the development the Cost Control procedures according with the Company procedures and all applicable statutory regulations.
• Responsible for the development an Invoicing procedure for the Contractors in compliance with Company procedures and all applicable statutory regulations.
• Assist and guide the project team members in the preparation of Services Orders.
• Provide high quality analysis and financial discipline support to the drilling team.

Requirements:

• University Degree (Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics)
• Minimum 5 years of relative industry experience.
• Strong knowledge in drilling operations, management control, budgeting, financial analysis.
