Location:                      Erbil

Job Responsibilities:
  • Candidate must have demonstrable expertise and experience in oil and gas, energy and infrastructure EPC & Plant maintenance Contract Management.
  • Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from client registration, process of RFP, through to proposal, negotiation, agreement, delivery and full project/ contract completion.
  • Expert in contract amendments, renewals, and terminations.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure all parties internally and externally fulfill their obligations to the benefit of the company.
  • Ensure that all contractual terms and conditions are clear, compliant, and in the best interests of the company.
  • Identify potential risks in contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure that contracts are compliant with the company standards, including health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices to minimize contractual risks.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including service agreements, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts and related documentation.
  • Work in tandem with Project Management team to ensure exceptional delivery and service to clients based on contractual terms and obligations.
  • Liaise with legal, finance, procurement and operational teams to align company policies, operations and objectives with contract terms and conditions to the benefit of the company.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, to facilitate excellent contract execution.
  • Provide training and support to team members on contract-related matters.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related issues and disputes and work towards agreeable solutions.
  • Prepare and manage claims and variations in alignment with contractual terms.
  • Review and approve contract-related payments, ensuring they align with agreed-upon terms.
  • Prepare regular reports on contract status, risks, and performance for senior management.
  • Analyze contract performance data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance future contract negotiations.

Requirements:

Education: Engineering/ Business/ Construction Management Degree or similar
Experience: 8 years minimum
Languages: Fluency in English and Arabic languages, Kurdish is a plus.
Competences: Excellent MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Skills, Fluency in English and Arabic essential, Exceptional Communication Skills.
