The Senior Project Development Manager will oversee the creation of a portfolio of solar and wind projects, whether through co-development or internal development, from the initiation of studies to the Ready to Build (RTB) stage.
 
Responsibilities
 

• Maximise MW development to reach RTB.
• Lead and manage co-development projects and those initiated by the Origination team, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.
• Oversee internal projects from land acquisition to RTB, ensuring proper integration, stakeholder consultation, and study monitoring.
• Proactively address partner and developer issues using internal and external resources.
• Provide accurate project reports for informed management decisions.
• Secure necessary approvals for project progression.
• Oversee and implement payment processes.
• Support the Origination team in evaluating new projects and land quality.
• Assist with due diligence for portfolio acquisitions and partnerships, using your permitting knowledge for solar and wind projects.
• Maintain and share updated permitting information with relevant departments.

 
Essential:
 

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge of project development steps, including permitting, land contracts, and grid connections.
• Proven experience in utility-scale solar or wind project development, acquisitions, and co-development partnerships.
• Ability to manage teams effectively in a matrix structure.
• Strong project management skills with keen attention to detail and deadlines.
• Valid driving license.
• Degree (Master’s or Diploma) in engineering, business administration, economics, law, or a related field.
