WRS are looking for a Senior Project Development Manager to join a leading company is the renewables sector on a permanent basis. 

Overview: 

We're seeking a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of wind, battery storage, and solar PV project development in Italy. You will play a key role in achieving project development goals, leveraging your expertise and collaborating with a team of renewable energy experts. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of wind, BESS, and solar PV project development from feasibility studies to final permitting and pre-construction;
• Lead project teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders;
• Conduct technical and financial due diligence for project acquisitions;
• Help identifying and securing new development opportunities;
• Liaise and cooperate with the engineering team

Essential skills: 

• Verifiable experience in developing, consultancy or advisory of PV, Wind projects in Italy;
• Proven understanding of the Italian regulatory framework related to the energy sector, specifically the development and construction of PV and Wind Plants, including environmental and licensing requirements;
• Knowledge of the Italian electricity system/technical and regulatory, including distributed generation regulations plus utilities and related interconnection procedures;
• Project Management;
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively;
• Attention to detail;
• Efficient time management capability;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to work within a team and support team members;
• English proficiency written and oral
