Senior Engineer, Process and Flow Assurance

Key Objectives

Advise on process, flow assurance, and integrity management to ensure operational efficiency and facility integrity.
Support offshore and BORF teams with technical expertise for troubleshooting, optimisation, and integrity management of the Sarawak asset.
Provide daily operational support to the clients facilities, focusing on offshore and onshore assets.
Optimise processes from wells to pipelines, utility systems, and receiving terminals, focusing on system performance and reliability.
Plan and direct process troubleshooting, debottlenecking, and performance improvements to meet production targets.
Conduct process calculations and simulations (HYSYS, PIPESIM) to resolve operational issues.
Manage minor studies/projects and oversee contractors/consultants as needed.
Address flow assurance issues (e.g., moisture, emulsions, sand, wax, asphaltene).
Maintain and review process drawings, documents, and simulation files.
Oversee Process Engineering matters for existing assets, as assigned by the Head of Operations Support.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in HYSYS and PIPESIM (OLGA preferred), and familiarity with relevant industry standards.
Experience: 10+ years in oil and gas upstream processing, including both offshore and onshore facilities.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of oil and gas production processes, particularly in integrated facilities.
Language: Fluent in English, spoken and written.
Other: Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and willingness to travel offshore/onshore.
