Job Posting: Sr. Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer in our DC Metro office, looking for an experienced professional with 10+ years in consulting engineering and project management who is passionate about electrical systems design and specification. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and supervise a small team while consulting with architects, owners, and general contractors.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of consulting electrical engineering experience.
• PE registration required.
• Department of Defense design experience preferred.
• Proficient in producing complete construction documents, including drawings, power system studies, and specifications.
• Capable of performing and supervising design execution for medium and low voltage AC/DC systems, electrical plans, and equipment layouts.
• Experience in interior and exterior lighting design with IESNA compliance.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit; RCDD certification is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage projects of varying sizes, ensuring quality through all design and construction phases.
• Participate in client meetings and provide engineering support, including response to AHJ comments and RFI reviews.
• Contribute to office culture and departmental goals.
