We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer (5 years exp) to design and develop electrical systems for our projects. We prefer candidates that are designers by career, degree is not required.  The Electrical Designer’s responsibilities include interpreting client and project manager requirements, designing electrical systems and products, and ensuring all electrical designs are up to code.

The ideal candidate will be able to create high-quality electrical designs that meet customer requirements and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout electrical systems and products
• Develop electrical schematics and single line diagrams
• Interpret client and project manager requirements
• Ensure all designs are up to code and follow safety standards
• Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing and installation standards and specifications
• Prepare specifications for purchases of materials and equipment
• Conduct field surveys and study maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an Electrical Designer
• Proficient with AutoCAD and other related software
• Excellent knowledge of electrical design and electrical systems
• Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes
• Ability to solve complex problems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
