As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing electrical and communications projects for military, commercial, and industrial clients. Responsibilities:
- Prepare designs for electrical and communications projects
- Evaluate and apply engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to make substantial adaptations and modifications to assigned projects
- Conduct site visits to document conditions
- Lead the preparation of written reports
- Perform quality control of designs
- Serve as a technical consultant for facilities planning, design, construction, and maintenance
- Delegate tasks and plans to manage scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Administer and manage construction contracts
- Utilize Excel, Word, CAD, and discipline-specific software
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Current professional engineering license with the ability to be licensed by comity in other states
- Minimum 20 years of electrical and communication design experience
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Extensive working knowledge of applicable design and building codes
- Experience managing construction contracts
- Strong rapport-building skills with clients
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, CAD, and discipline-specific software
- RCDD certification
- Experience working with Department of Defense facilities
