Senior Electrical Inspector

On behalf of a major EPC company, WRS are looking for a Senior Electrical Inspector to work in Sweden on a contract, rotational basis. This will be a long term contract, rotating 3/1 at site in Skelleftea, paying an hourly rate in SEK.

The role will be working on the construction of a battery storage gigfactory.

Job Duties Include:
  • Review of contract terms and specifications to ensure clear understanding of technical requirements and prerequisite verification and certifications requirements.
  • Undertake and/or coordinate technical review of subcontractor data submissions typically including; quality plans, process and personnel qualifications and constructions records and certification.
  • Chair or attend and record pre-inspection meetings when specified by the Site Quality Manager and follow-up implementation and closeout of agreed actions
  • Site inspection personnel (and where applicable their employers) and vendors activities meet One Way expectations and are undertaken in conformance with applicable Worley, regulatory and contractual HSE obligations
  • Witness subcontractor process and personnel qualification tests in accordance with specification requirements.
  • Witness/review of subcontractor (First party) inspection and test activities and records in accordance with specification/code requirements in accordance with approved inspection and test plans.
  • Competently undertake and document client (Second party) inspection and test activities as specified in approved inspection and test plans
  • Facilitate client or independent (Third Party) verification activities as specified in agreed inspection and test plans.
Ideal candidate will have:
  • B.Sc or equivalent technical competence
  • The A authorisation according ELSAK-FS 2017:4
  • Quality management/control or inspector certification
  • Good knowledge of management systems including ISO 9001, and its application to Contracts/Projects.
  • Experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry including through understanding of the principles and practice of supplier inspection management
  • Expertise in the management of a Quality Management System.
  • Knowledge of Swedish Electrical norms and regulations
  • Good working knowledge of Industry related EU regulations e.g. ATEX
  • Right to work in the EU
