Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects through the company's stage-gated process, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with company standards.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.
  • Generate and manage Gantt charts to visualize project timelines and dependencies.
  • Conduct regular briefings and presentations to senior management on project health, status updates, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation for internal and external use.
  • Understand and manage the profitability impact of projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Track project costs and resource allocation to optimize financial performance.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality and objectives.
  • Ensure all project documentation is properly managed, stored, and accessible according to company policies.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a chemical manufacturing or related industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Project.
  • Experience with SAP for project tracking and financial management.
  • Demonstrated capability in generating and managing Gantt charts.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations in the chemical industry.
Benefits will be provided the 1st of the following month of start.
Paid hourly for all hours worked.
Monthly per diem available to non-local Candidates.
