The Production Superintendent will lead and coordinate operational activities within defined perimeters, ensuring alignment with safety and operational policies.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing operations to achieve treatment objectives, maintaining safety for personnel, environment, and assets.
- Updating and enforcing protocols for shutdown, start-up, and equipment availability.
- Supervising safety system operations, readings, and periodic testing.
- Supporting the Terminal Manager in daily operational meetings and coordinating site activities with Maintenance teams.
- Diagnosing malfunctions and recommending safety improvements.
- Issuing and validating daily operational instructions and personnel schedules.
- Preparing and validating Work Permits as the Operational Authority.
- Overseeing the planning and execution of shutdowns, drafting procedures, and preparing operational reports.
- Reviewing project documents (Safety, Operating Manuals, etc.) and updating procedures.
- Participating in commissioning activities to ensure equipment readiness for start-up.
- Collaborating with the Terminal Manager on equipment orders necessary for start-up and operational needs.
- Overseeing initial start-up procedures and monitoring equipment performance.
- Managing risk assessments and punch list clearance action plans.
- Preparing requisitions for essential equipment, tools, and instruments for operational teams.
- Ensuring systems handover from project teams for operational continuity.
- Conducting performance tests in line with contract standards under safe conditions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Petroleum, Industrial, or Mechanical) with 10 years of relevant oil and gas industry experience.
