Job Overview:
The Operations Manager will lead the operations of the company facility at Om Qasser Port, ensuring high efficiency and productivity. This role also includes overseeing port operations, strategic planning, logistics management, and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

Job Overview:
The Operations Manager will lead the operations of the company facility at Om Qasser Port, ensuring high efficiency and productivity. This role also includes overseeing port operations, strategic planning, logistics management, and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Soybean Crushing Facility Management: Lead and manage the daily operations of the soybean crushing facility, focusing on maximizing efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Operational Oversight: Supervise port operations, including cargo handling and vessel traffic oversight, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Logistics Management: Oversee the logistics operations, including the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods. Ensure efficient supply chain management and coordination with logistics providers and vendors.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Develop and enforce robust safety and security procedures.
- Resource Allocation: Manage resources for both the soybean crushing facility and port operations, including equipment, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with customs, immigration, and quarantine officials, as well as shipping companies and other port users to facilitate operations.
- Strategic Development: Formulate and implement strategic plans to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the soybean crushing facility and port operations.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency procedures, conducting regular drills to ensure readiness.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives in soybean processing, port operations, and logistics.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Logistics, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: At least 15 years of total experience, with 7 to 10 years in operations and a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
- knowledge of soybean processing, port operations, and logistics management.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in budget management and cost control.
- Familiarity with relevant management software and tools.
