Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop detailed financial models to assess potential acquisitions, investments, and partnerships in the solar industry, including scenario analysis and risk assessment.
- Due Diligence: Conduct in-depth due diligence on potential targets, analyzing financials, market conditions, regulatory impacts, and operational risks.
- Strategic Support: Provide strategic recommendations and presentations to senior leadership and key stakeholders, including identifying market opportunities, potential risks, and synergies from M&A activities.
- Market Research: Track and analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to support the company’s growth strategy and M&A initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, finance, development, and operations teams to ensure successful deal execution and integration.
- Transaction Management: Oversee key aspects of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, project evaluation, and supporting the negotiation and structuring process.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in M&A, finance, or strategic analysis, with a strong preference for experience in the renewable energy or solar industry.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (Excel, financial modeling software, etc.).
- Strong understanding of solar development processes, including project financing, regulatory environments, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it clearly to stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with solar energy market analysis and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with project financing structures in renewable energy, including tax equity and debt financing.
