WRS are representing a client seeking a versatile Network Engineer to seamlessly blend cutting-edge audio-visual solutions with intricate network architectures. The ideal candidate will showcase expertise in networking principles, protocols, and technologies, coupled with hands-on experience in deploying and managing AV systems within diverse network environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure solutions to optimize performance, reliability, and security.
- Configure and troubleshoot AV devices to ensure seamless operation and network compatibility.
- Develop and enforce network policies to enhance AV performance and reduce latency.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate audio-visual solutions into existing network setups.
- Stay updated on emerging networking and AV technologies and assess their impact.
- Participate in project planning to ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize AV solution requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in networking engineering or similar roles.
- Proficiency in networking principles and protocols.
- Familiarity with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Palo Alto Networks.
- Experience in integrating audio-visual and low voltage solutions into network infrastructures, including configuring and troubleshooting AV devices and protocols like HDMI, HDCP, HDBaseT, and Dante.
- Knowledge of various audio-visual standards and technologies, such as H.264, H.265, SIP, WebRTC, Dante, AES67, and SDVoE.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving complex network and AV challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Preferred: industry certifications like CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+, AVIXA CTS, or equivalent qualifications.
