They are currently on the search for a Land acquisition manager to satisfy the following requirements;
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead negotiations for land agreements and rights for onshore wind and solar projects in Germany.
- Interface with landowners to secure agreements, acting as the main contact throughout negotiations and development phases.
- Manage a team of land agents, consultants, community liaison officers, and external solicitors to secure land agreements.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive community engagement plan aligning with Government guidelines.
- Organise and participate in landowner meetings, public events, and project hearings, communicating technical, legal, and commercial aspects clearly.
- Act as the Community Liaison Officer, facilitating two-way communication between community groups and the project.
- Identify initiatives to bring benefits to communities before, during, and after project construction.
Skills/Qualifications
- Relevant degree (e.g., Rural Surveying, Land, Town Planning, Renewable Energy) preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven track record in delivering land agreements within a rural agency, developer, or consultancy.
- Experience liaising with landowners, local authorities, communities, and stakeholders on large-scale projects.
- Understanding of property and leasing law, familiarity with legal agreements for land access and development rights.
- Knowledge of planning and development processes for large-scale projects.
- Full driving license and flexibility for short-notice travel.
