Job Description:
An Inventory Officer is responsible for managing and overseeing a company's inventory and stock levels. This role involves maintaining accurate records of inventory, ensuring stock availability, and minimizing discrepancies. The Inventory Officer plays a crucial role in the supply chain, ensuring that the right quantity of products is available at the right time.

Responsibilities:
-    Receive, pull stock, store, and maintain warehouse inventory
-    Responsible for the issuance of materials and supplies to all departments in the organization
-    Scrutinize all deliveries and ensure that defective or incorrect items are returned
-    Examine stock and dispose of depreciated and obsolete stock following the organization’s policy
-    Responsible for stock control and housekeeping operations of warehouse cargo and items
-    Key departmental orders into the inventory management system
-    Carry out minor maintenance or repair of storeroom material
-    detailed reports on departmental charges
-    Responsible for the preparation of requisitions for supplies and materials
-    Ensure materials are appropriately stored
-    Program the final inventory of materials prior to shipment
-    Provide a list of all equipment moved from the consolidation areas into sponsor shipping channels to project coordinators
-    Responsible for the maintenance of inventory of parts and equipment on hand
-    Keep documentation of materials and supplies issued
-    Responsible for the preparation of work orders for equipment repairs
-    Preserve records and prepare related reports
-    Any other Tasks assigned by the supervisor 
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency at Kurish, Arabic English.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
