Automation Engineer

Location: Kirkuk
Working days: Saturday to Thursday
Open to: Locals & Expat

Responsibilities:

Assist team with technical solution during breakdowns.
Rework/repair of parts to control the OPEX budget.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of computer- controlled systems and robotic devices related to processing and packaging equipment’s.
Analyse and modify PLC programs according to process requirements.
Do instrumentation preventative maintenance jobs i.e., scheduled calibrations
of plant instruments.
Repair work of any electrical or electronic plant devices.
Assist electrical and mechanical department with maintenance tasks as necessary to keep down time to an absolute limit.
Able to perform under pressure and strict time limitations.
Can work independently with little or no supervision, as well as in a team effort
Can handle manpower and supervise daily maintenance work.
Can raise and provide specifications for required spare parts.
To conform with company policies, rules and regulations in performing duties.
Work overtime as required by the management.
Work in shifts as required.
Available for callouts when required.
Ability to perform in house equipment services.

Requirements:

Diploma certification in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or related field.
Training certification in Automation/PLC programming.
7 years’ relevant experience in the field of Automation & Instrumentation.
Computer skills – MS Office.
In-depth knowledge and experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC are must.
Knowledge and experience in Tetra Plant Master is an advantage.
Knowledge and experience with Wonderware Intouch are an advantage.
Networking skills is a must i.e. in-depth knowledge in ethernet, Profibus, ASi etc.
Knowledge of Electronics equipment’s and robotics.
Able to read & modify simple to complex electrical circuits.
Sound knowledge of mechanical components functions.
