HR Officer

Location: Baghdad
Working days: 5 days
Working Hours: 8 Hours

Job Summary:
The HR Officer will be responsible for managing and supporting various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations and compliance with company policies and labor laws. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with employees across all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Staffing: by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process, screening resumes, coordinating interviews and assisting in onboarding new employees.
  • Developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • To support employees' professional and personal development.
  • To uphold labor laws and regulations, protecting the organization from legal risks and fostering ethical practices.
  • Responsible for overseeing and monitoring the activities of departments and employees to ensure strict adherence to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • To cultivate a culture of respect, inclusion, and teamwork, enhancing employee morale and productivity.
  • Organizing training programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
  • Supporting managers in setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.
  • Maintaining employee records and HR databases.
  • Maintain employee attendance according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Organizing Employee Contracts: to draft, review, and manage employee contracts, ensuring clarity, compliance with legal standards, and alignment with company policies.
  • Ensuring that all employees are organized and satisfied in their work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in in HR or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. are preferred.
  • HR Certifications/Training: Relevant certifications or training in human resources are preferred.
  • Language Proficiency : Advanced level in for both English and Arabic are required.
