We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience who is enthusiastic about building and leading a mechanical engineering team in our Atlanta office. This role presents a challenging and rewarding opportunity to engage in impactful projects spanning various sectors such as healthcare, laboratories, commercial, Department of Defense, and higher education.

This role presents a challenging and rewarding opportunity to engage in impactful projects spanning various sectors such as healthcare, laboratories, commercial, Department of Defense, and higher education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a mechanical engineering team while promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Drive marketing and business development efforts, leveraging existing client relationships to expand our services.
- Execute technical design, consulting, construction support, and prepare scoping and proposals for new projects.
- Collaborate with our regional electrical engineering team to deliver comprehensive MEP services.
- Mentor and guide team members in their professional growth while supporting work-life balance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineering Registration (required).
- At least 5 years of consulting engineering experience with a focus on HVAC and plumbing engineering.
- Proficient knowledge of the International Building Code and International Mechanical Code.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
- Excellent time management and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for industry best practices.
- Active industry involvement and business development experience preferred.
- Expected Base Salary: $78,000 - $126,000 based on experience.
- Possible Signing Bonus depending on experience.
- Paid overtime at 1.0 times the hourly rate.
- Competitive end-of-year discretionary bonus based on performance.
- Hybrid work schedule (subject to change).
- 401k plan with a maximum of 5% contribution matching and 9% employee contribution.
