Mechanical PE - Atlanta, GA Area

We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience who is enthusiastic about building and leading a mechanical engineering team in our Atlanta office. This role presents a challenging and rewarding opportunity to engage in impactful projects spanning various sectors such as healthcare, laboratories, commercial, Department of Defense, and higher education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a mechanical engineering team while promoting a collaborative work environment.
• Drive marketing and business development efforts, leveraging existing client relationships to expand our services.
• Execute technical design, consulting, construction support, and prepare scoping and proposals for new projects.
• Collaborate with our regional electrical engineering team to deliver comprehensive MEP services.
• Mentor and guide team members in their professional growth while supporting work-life balance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineering Registration (required).
• At least 5 years of consulting engineering experience with a focus on HVAC and plumbing engineering.
• Proficient knowledge of the International Building Code and International Mechanical Code.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
• Excellent time management and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for industry best practices.
• Active industry involvement and business development experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Expected Base Salary: $78,000 - $126,000 based on experience.
• Possible Signing Bonus depending on experience.
• Paid overtime at 1.0 times the hourly rate.
• Competitive end-of-year discretionary bonus based on performance.
