We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Control Lead to join our team for an exciting project in Suriname. Project will be based in the clients Paris offices, looking to move into country after 12 months.
Position Overview: As the Cost Control Lead, you will coordinate the Budget & Cost Control activities for a major offshore project in Suriname. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the cost control processes, ensuring the project stays within budget and adheres to financial guidelines.

Position Overview: As the Cost Control Lead, you will coordinate the Budget & Cost Control activities for a major offshore project in Suriname. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the cost control processes, ensuring the project stays within budget and adheres to financial guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in Cost Control activities for one package (FPSO, SURF, SPS, Drilling) of the project.
- Advise and support the Project Control Manager/Lead in all matters regarding the Cost Control structure, procedures, reporting, and practices.
- Utilise Cost Control tools (SAP, U-COST tool or similar) for preparing, analysing, processing, and presenting all information and documentation related to project costs and expenditures.
- Compare initial budgets, previous status, and current forecasts, justifying any gaps with the support of technical teams.
- Highlight and escalate any budgeting and cost issues, proposing mitigation actions as needed.
- Demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regards to HSSE and adhere to all HSSE requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive documents and information.
- Inspire trust, integrity, and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Extensive experience in the Oil & Gas Cost Control Management sector.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a project environment.
