Static Equipment Engineer - Madrid

On behalf of a major PMC, WRS are looking for a Static Equipment Engineer to work in Madrid on a contract basis. This will be an ASAP start, on a 12 month contract, based residentially in Madrid, paying an hourly rate in USD.

The role will be supporting the addition of three gas compression facilities, and project is going into Detailed Design phase.

Please note: You MUST have the right to work in the EU.

Job Duties include:

• Prepare and/or review design calculations for pressure vessels and tanks.
• Prepare and/or review technical Specifications.
• Inter-disciplinary delivery checking.
• Prepare and/or review technical clarification of pressure vessel vendor bids to ensure vendor compliance with company standards.
• Prepare and/or review technical reports to support order placement of air coolers, heat exchangers, storage tanks, specialist equipment and filters to ensure vendor compliance with company standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent, chartered status is also preferable.
• 10 -15 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry petrochemical project.
• Good working knowledge of operator standards and procedures and International standards.
• Good knowledge of English, both written and verbal.
