Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager - Austin or San Antonio, TX locations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager to join our team! As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, leading design teams, and ensuring quality standards. Responsibilities:

  • Assumed Senior Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager role and manages assigned projects, including coordination and or direction for the design team from inception to completion on a project-specific basis
  • Prepare proposals and reports for small and large projects
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work while maintaining quality standards on all projects
  • Responsible for the designs and development of mechanical and plumbing systems
  • Performs and verifies load calculations for mechanical and plumbing systems
  • Perform CA tasks, review submittals/shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and attend CA meetings
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate field installations and conduct field observations
  • Assist in Marketing/BD efforts in coordination with the Marketing Director
  • As other duties assigned
Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Proven track record completing projects, strong project planning and delivery experience
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Team-oriented, hands-on, adaptive, and client-focused
  • Ability to influence senior-level leadership
  • Excellent time management and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with demanding deadlines with a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to develop business and promote business relationships through client interaction
Technology/Computer Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Proficient in Bluebeam
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Project Management Certification, preferred
Experience:

  • 7+ years of recent experience in Mechanical Engineering design with an architectural or MEP firm
  • LEED accreditation is highly desired
  • WELL accreditation is a plus
Requirements:

  • Current valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Current PE Certification
Schedule:

Monday - 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM Tuesday - Thursday - 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM Friday - 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Job Type: Full-Time/Exempt

Salary Range: $90,000+

Work Location: Austin, Texas

Work Authorization: Eligible to work in the United States
