On behalf of a major installations EPC client WRS are searching for a Senior Materials Engineer for a capital Floating Wind Project at FEED stage. The role will be offered on a 12 month renewable contract and working in our clients office in Kingston upon Thames.

Role offers:
12 month renewable contract
Hybrid working schedule 
Paid daily rate

Successful candidates require:

• UK passport holder 
• Degree qualified engineer with design experience in materials.
• Capable of supporting the project team in Bids, FEED and Projects stages in the definition of the most effective and competitive solutions for design materials and manufacturing as per client and international specifications.
• Provide technical support to construction/installation teams relevant to all aspects of metallic materials.
• Support procurement in technical bid evaluation (TBE), review vendors document and communicate with client.
• Knowledge of welding and corrosion is desirable.
