Project Manager / Estimator / Sales Rep (Commercial Roofing) - San Leandro, CA
Job description
The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for bidding of repair and reroofing opportunities and all aspects of project management from conception to completion.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree (BS) or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or technical school preferred, but it is not required.
- Knowledge of roofing systems is preferred, but is not requires.
- Experience or strong interest in the constriction trades is recommended.
- Ability to communicate well, both written and orally, simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, along with basic geometry.
- Proficient use of internet explorer, Outlook Internet software, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Work with superintendents to determine labor production capabilities.
- Work with production personnel to understand production processes.
- Review assigned plans and specs to establish basic material and labor requirements.
- Understand contract information and customer requirements.
- Work with other project manager / estimators to determine how to order materials and secure subcontractors.
- Review and approves invoices, materials slips, and purchase orders.
- Review contracts and proposals to verify that they comply with company policy and meet intended scope of work.
- Maintain open communication with clients to clearly convey progress of project and minimize unresolved issues.
- Clearly understand schedules, document change orders, prepare submittals, promote safety and quality control.
- Understand and maintain company policies.
