Pipelines & Risers Installation Engineer
Location: Paris
Contract: 12-Month Renewable
 
Project Context:

Responsible for providing specialised engineering support for the installation and decommissioning of subsea pipelines (rigid, flexible, hybrid), risers, umbilicals, spools/jumpers, tie-ins, and power cables. Support includes both conventional and deepwater offshore projects.
 
Scope may cover project phases such as pre-FEED, FEED, detailed engineering, tendering, on-site installation, commissioning, R&D, integrity interventions, and decommissioning.
 
Responsibilities: 

• Ensure compliance with international standards, local regulations, and company specifications throughout project execution.
• Review and approve technical documentation in line with deadlines and project requirements.
• Supervise offshore installation activities, ensuring all HSEQ, technical, and interface requirements are met.
• Assist with SIMOPS dossier preparation and co-activities.
• Oversee testing (FAT, EFAT, SIT, pre-commissioning) conducted by contractors.
• Review contractor vessel specifications to ensure compliance, and conduct audits/inspections as needed for marine spread approvals.

Skills Required:

• Engineer with 10-15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in project supervision for SURF activities.
• Recent experience in deepwater and offshore cable installation projects, including offshore operations.
