About the Position: The Mechanical Foreman role is essential in overseeing the day-to-day operations of some of the most challenging multifamily high-rise and commercial projects in the industry. This position ensures that the work is performed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency while meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanical crews on multifamily high-rise and commercial construction sites.
- Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications, mechanical codes, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other trades and project management to resolve issues and maintain project schedules.
- Monitor the use of materials and manage inventory to ensure the availability of necessary resources.
- Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations on-site.
- Train and mentor crew members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Foreman on large-scale multifamily high-rise and commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical codes.
- Basic computer and communication skills.
