Maintenance Engineer - Cranes and Safety

Job description

On behalf of a major operator WRS are looking for a Maintenance Engineer - Cranes and Safety (Operations Specialist) to work in an office based role. 

12 Month renewable contract 
Office based role with trips offshore 

Overview: Is the technical focal point for planned and unplanned maintenance for all offshore located cranes, lifesaving equipment and helidecks. Supports and reports to the Senior mechanical Engineer and respective offshore teams. The role holder prepares various maintenance activities of the cranes and lifesaving equipment, in line with the overall maintenance objectives, standards and procedures. This will be done with use of the CMMS (SAP). Offshore visits will be part of the function.

Responsibilities: 

- Support day-to-day planned and unplanned maintenance for the offshore cranes & lifesaving equipment, provide technical advice, assistance and preparation of cranes & lifesaving maintenance in order to guarantee that equipment and systems are within certification, fit for purpose and can operate safely.
- Provide support to the maintenance planning for preventive and corrective maintenance for offshore mechanical and rotating equipment. 
- Responsible for adding the material masters and or services including all relevant technical specifications into the CMMS.

Required:

- Dutch Speaking 
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the E&P industry, preferably with mechanical systems
- Medical fit according to NOGEPA rules.

This role is Operational/Tactical
