On behalf of a major oil and gas operator, I am searching for a Logistic HSE Coordinator to join them on a residential rotation (8/2) to Tanzania on a long term contract for a large greenfield cross-country pipeline construction.
The Job Holder participate for HSE management of Logistics activities relating to the project to insure safe delivery of companies and contractors’ equipment.
Please note: You MUST be fluent in Swahili and English, both written and spoken.

The Job Holder participate for HSE management of Logistics activities relating to the project to insure safe delivery of companies and contractors’ equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Follow-up of contractors’ daily and weekly activities: respect of HSE controls and inspections, HSE report, notification of safety events/incidents and initial report
- Attend weekly meeting and HSE monthly meeting
- Daily HSE support of the Log MatCo / Road Safety advisors on the field
- Safety supervision of deliveries for personnel and vehicles including unloading operations (JSA, audits, …)
Requirements:
- Higher National Diploma and relevant professional experience.
- Computer literate with all MS Office programs.
- 5 years’ experience (at least 3 y. on site) in a function involving logistics or safety supervision in Tanzania in mining, construction, or O&G sectors. International environment experience would be a plus.
- A good knowledge of HSE standards (HSE Management System, Works at risk, permit to work) would be highly appreciated.
