We are seeking a highly skilled Incident Management & Prevention Coordinator with extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry. This role is focused on developing and maintaining effective systems to analyse lagging indicator data and support stakeholders in making informed decisions regarding project exposures and risks.

Incident Management & Prevention Coordinator
We are seeking a highly skilled Incident Management & Prevention Coordinator with extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry. This role is focused on developing and maintaining effective systems to analyse lagging indicator data and support stakeholders in making informed decisions regarding project exposures and risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain an Incident & Event Management System for the project.
- Lead incident investigations, facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and ensure effective corrective actions.
- Design and conduct training and workshops on incident investigation and RCA methodologies.
- Develop creative strategies for communicating lessons learned and monitoring the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Implement internal management systems focused on risk management.
- Technically qualified professional, ideally with a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
- Formal certification in Root Cause Analysis and Incident Investigation.
- Minimum 10 years of international project experience in the Oil and Gas sector.
- At least 7–10 years of HSE experience in developing countries, particularly in major project startups and execution.
- Expertise in deploying HSE systems, with familiarity in various RCA software used in the industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Lists, Power BI, MS Forms, and Power Apps is highly desirable.
- Previous work experience in Africa or in pipeline construction.
- Experience with heavy industry projects and previous experience with relevant projects is advantageous.
