Flow Assurance - Paris

On behalf of a major Oil & Gas operator, I am looking for a Flow Assurance to work in Paris on a contract basis. This will be a 12 month renewable contract, based residential in Paris, paying a day rate in EURO.

The role will be supporting the Engineering Scopes for a large deep water field development project.

Responsibilities:
  • Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regards to HSE, implement HSE rules and requirements within his area of responsibility.
  • Preparation of documents bringing together the design bases necessary for flow assurance studies, requiring consultation with other disciplines, and integration of the results of fluid analyses for which data must be obtained.
  • Definition of the flow assurance studies to be carried out at each stage of the studies, together with the identification of assistance and subcontracting needs. The provider will be monitoring and completing all the required studies.
  • Management of the progress of flow assurance activities, advice and guidance of technical contractor and GPI teams involved in Flow-Assurance activities, proposal of necessary technical decisions on time.
  • Verification of the proper production of internal deliverables and contractor deliverables relating to the Flow-Assurance discipline (quality and deadlines)

Requirements:
  • Qualification: Master’s degree in engineering, with specialisation in subsea pipeline/risers,
  • At least 15 years professional experience in Oil & Gas deepwater projects, as Installation Engineer, onshore and offshore,
  • Knowledge of operator Referential, as well relevant codes and standards,
  • Good communication skills, dynamism, high motivation, ability to convince, organised, leadership and ability to put issues into perspective Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
