Civil Land Development PE - Atlanta, GA area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects from entitlements and preliminary design through construction documents and administration.
  • Interface with a multi-discipline design team and foster long-term client relationships.
  • Mentor junior staff and guide their technical development.
  • Oversee project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely completion and quality standards are met.
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, prepare civil construction documents, and execute earthwork calculations.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration required; registration in Georgia preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional land development experience, particularly in life sciences, commercial, residential, healthcare, municipal, or Federal projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; specification preparation experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent time management abilities.
Compensation and Benefits:

  • Expected Base Salary: $90,000 to $120,000 based on experience.
  • Possible Signing Bonus.
  • Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
  • Competitive end-of-year discretionary bonus based on performance.
  • Hybrid work schedule (subject to change).
  • 401k with a maximum of 5% contribution matching and 9% employee contribution.
