WRS are recruiting for a Business Development Consultant specializing in Energies (Oil & Gas and Renewables) Contract Recruitment. In this role, you'll support our strategic initiatives, working closely with the Business Development Manager to drive growth in the US market initially focusing on Louisiana and Houston fostering key client relationships within the energy sector.
As our Business Development Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of attracting new business to WRS while gaining a deep understanding of our clients' contract recruitment needs. You'll identify industry challenges and offer innovative solutions, playing a pivotal role in our company's growth and success. This position would suit an experienced 360 recruiter looking for their next step in career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Acquisition: Expand our client base within the oil & gas and Renewable Energy sector, focusing on contract recruitment opportunities.
- Client Engagement: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to understand their contract staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Strategic Solutions: Identify industry challenges and offer innovative recruitment solutions to address client requirements effectively.
- Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with the Global BD Team to achieve company objectives, emphasizing rapid and profitable business growth.
- Market Analysis: Analyse market trends and client feedback to identify opportunities for operational and strategic enhancements.
- Visionary Leadership: Lead the sales growth strategy for WRS's energies recruitment division in alignment with the company's vision and goals.
- Relationship Management: Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and challenges.
- Division Growth: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to attract new clients and grow the client base, ensuring follow-ups are conducted with new contacts.
- Negotiation: Utilize effective communication and persuasion techniques to reach mutually beneficial agreements while upholding the company's Terms of Business and protecting its interests.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in the energies sector, with a focus on oil and gas contract recruitment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the capacity to analyze market dynamics and drive business performance.
- Excellent people and relationship-building skills are essential.
- Must be based in Houston - Remote role with travel included.
