Regional Project Manager - Underground Utilities - Charlotte, NC

They are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager with a strong electrical commercial background to oversee multiple underground utility projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Delivery: Ensure that multiple projects $3M+, are completed on time, within scope, and on budget,
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Site Management: Conduct site visits across the Charlotte region, attending inspections and site meetings as needed to ensure project alignment and compliance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other project managers to coordinate resources and ensure all project needs are met.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, change orders, and invoicing processes, ensuring financial performance aligns with project goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all projects comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Planning and Reporting: Organize and lead weekly project meetings and prepare comprehensive reports on project progress and team performance.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in electrical commercial projects, with a strong focus on underground utility installations.
  • Sector Expertise: Demonstrated experience in WWTP, mission-critical environments, large healthcare facilities, or distribution centers.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, underground electrical infrastructure, and relevant project management tools.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to effectively manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.
