Position: Millwork Estimator - Casework & Millwork Division
Location: Oakdale, PA
Description: Seeking an experienced Millwork Estimator to join a rapidly growing Casework & Millwork Division. This role involves performing detailed material take-offs, developing scopes of work, and creating accurate project estimates based on architectural drawings.
Responsibilities:

• Translate architectural drawings to perform detailed take-offs and itemized lists of materials.
• Create detailed scopes of work based on architectural drawings or narratives.
• Acquire unit pricing and quotes for various types of materials for each project.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to determine installation and subcontracted work costs.
• Interpret division 06400 specifications (and associated) for compliance and build standards.
• Develop written proposals and pricing for review and potential presentation.
• Travel to job sites to develop and determine the scope required to meet clients’ needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience estimating casework and millwork projects up to $1 million.
• Proficiency in reading drawings and interpreting specifications.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and digitized blueprint software.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of basic construction methods related to architectural millwork.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Punctuality and reliability.
