We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience who is eager to build and lead a mechanical engineering team in our Atlanta office. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work on impactful projects across various sectors, including healthcare, laboratories, commercial, Department of Defense, and higher education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and management of a mechanical engineering team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Engage in marketing and business development efforts, leveraging existing client relationships to grow our services.
  • Perform technical design, consulting, construction support, and new project scoping and proposal writing.
  • Coordinate closely with our regional electrical engineering team to provide comprehensive MEP services.
  • Support a healthy work-life balance while mentoring and guiding team members in their professional growth.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering Registration (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of consulting engineering experience with a focus on HVAC and plumbing engineering.
  • Familiarity with the International Building Code and International Mechanical Code.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for industry best practices and advancements.
  • Active industry involvement and business development experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:

  • Expected Base Salary: $78,000 - $126,000 based on experience.
  • Possible Signing Bonus based on experience.
  • Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
  • Competitive end-of-year discretionary bonus based on performance.
  • Hybrid work schedule (subject to change).
  • 401k with maximum of 5% contribution matching and 9% employee contribution.
