Fabrication HSE Advisor – Middlesbrough

Are you an experienced HSE professional with a strong background in wind monopile foundation fabrication? We’re seeking a Fabrication HSE Advisor to join an exciting project based at the state-of-the-art SeAH Wind Factory in Middlesbrough.

Role Details:
  • Location: SeAH Wind Factory, Dockside Road, Middlesbrough.
  • Type: Onshore, factory-based role.
  • Deadline for Applications: Thursday, 9th January.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in wind monopile foundation fabrication.
  • Hands-on practical knowledge of welding processes.
  • Ideally based locally in or around Middlesbrough.
Role Objective:The HSE Advisor will collaborate with the Fabrication Team and Package Management to implement and oversee HSE strategies and objectives at the supplier's site, ensuring compliance and fostering a safety-first culture.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct supplier and process assessments based on risk.
  • Review and oversee supplier HSE documentation, plans, and procedures.
  • Conduct HSE inspections and audits of supplier fabrication sites.
  • Provide guidance on HSE strategies, priorities, and improvement plans.
  • Support incident investigations and root cause analyses.
  • Maintain HSE reporting structures and assist with supplier performance monitoring.
  • Actively promote continuous improvement and a strong safety culture.
Qualifications:
  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification (preferably NEBOSH General/Construction Diploma).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in industrial manufacturing or fabrication.
  • Knowledge of local Health and Safety regulations.
  • Training in Work at Height (e.g., GWO) and First Aid, along with a valid medical certificate.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Success Criteria:
  • Achieving TRIR and NCR reduction targets among fabrication suppliers.
  • Timely delivery of milestones and supplier performance in line with Ørsted objectives.
